We have activities for most age groups, ranging from study groups to friendship and recreational groups.
Our Think-About-It group looks at current issue topics including ethical standards, religion and politics. APW is the Iona branch of the Association of Presbyterian Women which usually has an outside speaker at each meeting, and raises funds for various causes; the Women's Focus Group is for women of of roughly 30 to 50 years of age and meets in the evening to enable working women to attend. There is a similar group for men.
Our Girls' Brigade company supplements our Iona Kidz and Youthtastics groups, providing girls from 5 to 17 with challenges that are physical, educational and social.
The Iona Ramblers has members of all age groups and has outings with walks in and around the city for three to four hours.
And our our first Sunday Lunch Club meets at LynnMall Shopping Centre to chat over refreshmnents.
Together with our free English Conversation classes for new migrants, there is indeed something for everyone in our Life Beyond the Pews.
